Building an open source laser cutter starting with the BuildLog.net laser cutter/engraver plans. Even though this is a kit of sorts, I had to do a lot of engineering, design, and fabrication along the way. Many improvements were made to the original design.
The SampleSwiper allows two surfaces to be contacted at a user selectable force for a specified amount of time. It also has the option to slide the two surfaces together over a specified distance.
