Temple of Fear - Zachary Coffin

The Temple of Fear is a proposed art installation by Zachary Coffin. I performed the Engineering, CAD design, and visualization using Solidworks. A 40 foot tall pyramid is constructed from hundreds of dead trees. Massive boulders stand atop, and are connected to a boulder hanging 3 feet above the ground by means of a steel rod. People can push the boulder near the ground, causing the top boulder to grind, sending creaking and tremors through the trees. A working trebuchet, with a firepit on the end, hangs in the entrance.
